課程概述 |
古典英國經驗哲學在現代哲學
(modern philosophy)史中是最重
要的哲學學派之一，影響當代哲
學的發展。在這一學期中要討論
的哲學家有英格蘭的洛克(John
Locke, 1632-1704)、愛爾蘭的巴
克萊(George Berkeley, 1685-
1753)與蘇格蘭的休姆(David
Hume, 1711-1777)。
討論的主題:
1. 英國經驗主義的背景和主要課
題—懷疑主義與理性主義
2. 洛克、巴克萊、休姆這三位哲
學家個自的知識論—觀念、意
義、真理
3. 道德理論—善、德行、行為原
則
4. 宗教哲學—神、存在論証及神
在其哲學中的角色
5. 影響
